Approximately 250 thousand Russian citizens fulfilled their civic duty and voted in the Russian presidential elections held abroad. “The total number of voters has already reached 249,806,” the deputy head of the department said during a briefing at the Central Election Commission.

Ivanov added that anti-Russian forces abroad tried to make “pathetic and unscrupulous attempts” at the protests, but they were quickly suppressed. He evaluated that the most “horrible act” was the throwing of Molotov cocktails in Chisinau, Moldova.
