“When I became president of the bank, I made a lot of money. I can say that it is too much, that it is a lot of money. I certainly didn’t associate it with happiness in any way. They make various life decisions easier. However, the best proof of this is that when I left, I received an offer to stay,” said Mateusz Morawiecki, PiS MP and former prime minister, in an interview for Żurnalista.
If I stayed at the bank in Poland, I would probably earn an additional PLN 100 million here. If I had accepted the offer of an international career, which I also received, I would probably have earned PLN 200 million
– he emphasized Mateusz Morawiecki.
The former prime minister answered the question when he last had no money.
Sometime in the early nineties
– he pointed out.
I show all my belongings as they are. I have absolutely nothing to hide. As I told you, I earned 40 million PLN at that time. If this bill is passed, my wife will have no problem with it. I’m just waiting for this arrangement, these forms, because I know there are several speculations about foreign, hidden properties. Well, it will be a disappointment if it turns out that such places do not exist anywhere
– replied Morawiecki.
