“I would like, Jarek, to talk to President Kaczyński, to wipe away that cheeky smile of yours,” said Roman Giertych, turning to the President of Law and Justice. “You have survived eight years of lawlessness, lies, administrative violence and sometimes physical violence,” Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz told the crowd. “We are facing eight years of erosion of the norms of the rule of law,” thundered Adam Bodnar.
It is difficult to remain indifferent to the words spoken during the local government convention of the Civic Coalition in Kielce. In their speeches, Adam Bodnar, Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz and Roman Giertych talked a lot about law and justice. In addition to the ritual criticism of the opposition group, there were also derogatory comments towards Jarosław Kaczyński.
Sienkiewicz on the destruction of Poland
You have endured eight years of lawlessness, lies, administrative violence and sometimes physical violence. You have survived the most difficult moment in independent Poland since 1989. And today you came together to take it one step further, to take power away from the people who destroyed Poland
– Sienkiewicz announced to those present at Targi Kielce.
Although he added – perhaps inspired by his own experiences – that “what we should fear most is not PiS, but pride.”

Bodnar with a big shadow
Adam Bodnar, on the other hand, focused on the rule of law, which seems to vary in all cases.
We are facing eight years of erosion of the rule of law, with abuses such as (…) the famous anti-LGBT laws, which I tried to combat as Ombudsman, and which cast such a huge shadow on what our community looks like.
– said the man responsible for the destruction of the justice system.
The most important thing for us as a government is that we do not waste time. And in fact, we have been fighting every day since December 13 to restore our country
– added.

Giertych about mysterious testimonies
Roman Giertych must have been hurt by what Jarosław Kaczyński said before the parliamentary inquiry committee about Pegasus. “Just like yesterday, I listened to this fallen satrap who mentioned me so often during the assignment,” Giertych blurted out at one point, receiving thunderous applause.
But I would like, Jarek, I’m talking to Mr. President Kaczyński, to wipe that cheeky smile off your face. And let me mention your name because you talked about me five times yesterday. And I’ll tell you one thing. (…) We prepare testimonies, or better said, we help those who want to give these testimonies (…) those people who want to testify for PiS from you, Jarek, from the heart of PiS
– said Giertych.
