Former head of the Ministry of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak announced on RMF24 that PiS will submit its own bill regarding civil protection. The project includes: equipping every volunteer fire station with an ambulance, and training firefighters in emergency medical services.
PiS will submit its own project
The chairman of the Law and Justice parliamentary club, Mariusz Błaszczak, asked about the government’s civil protection law on RMF24 on Saturday and said PiS will submit its own bill.
We will introduce a bill that will ensure that every volunteer fire station has an ambulance and that firefighters are trained for paramedic certification.
– said Błaszczak. He added that the “December 13 coalition” focuses only on major cities, and “we care about the sustainable development of the entire country.”
According to the former defense minister, the Polish army must be strengthened to prevent bombs from falling on Poland.
We are the ones who ensured that Warsaw’s anti-aircraft and missile defenses were restored. It did not exist during the PO-PSL coalition government
– noted Błaszczak.
Civil defense
The Law on Civil Protection and Defense, which is being developed by the Ministry of the Interior and Administration together with the Ministry of Defense, should provide a comprehensive solution in case of different types of crises. The new law aims, among other things, to define the tasks of civil protection in times of peace and war, the bodies and entities that carry out these tasks and the principles of civil protection and civil defense planning. It is also intended to specify the operating principles of the notification, warning and warning system about threats, the registration and use of protective structures, and the functioning and organization of civil protection. The law will also specify the modalities for the appointment of civil protection personnel and the specific financing of civil protection tasks.
