For the first time since 2008, four candidates will compete for the presidency: Vladislav Davankov (New People’s Party), Vladimir Putin (nominating his own candidate), Leonid Slutsky (LDPR) and Nikolai Kharitonov (Communist Party of the Russian Federation).
