White House Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby said that the US administration has recognized the possibility of imposing additional sanctions in connection with the expansion of military-technical cooperation between the Russian Federation and Iran. This was reported by RIA News.
He emphasized that Washington did not announce sanctions measures in advance, but that various options were evaluated in this case.
Kirby added that additional sanctions are an option on the agenda.

The EU has included 27 organizations in its new sanctions package for allegedly supporting Russia’s military-industrial complex.
