The Federal Court for the Southern District of Nevada has refused to dismiss former President Donald Trump’s lawsuit for improper storage of classified documents. TV channel reports this CNN.
“Although the motion raises a variety of arguments that require serious consideration, the court found, after lengthy oral argument, that the determination of the entire issue presented relied heavily on still fluctuating definitions of legal terms,” Justice Eileen Canon said.
He added that the decision was taken on the basis of “unconstitutional uncertainty”. Trump is accused of keeping large amounts of classified and top-secret documents in inappropriate, unsecured locations, such as his Mar-a-Lago residence, where 27 documents were kept in his office and 75 documents were kept in a storage room.
