Russian presidential elections have started in Chukotka and Kamchatka, whose duration is +9 hours faster than Moscow, and ballot boxes have been opened in the regions. This was reported by TASS Regarding regional election commissions.
It is reported that nearly 200 polling stations have been opened for voting in Kamchatka alone.
“A total of 319 ballot boxes were created in the region for the presidential election, but some of them were included in early voting. The regional election committee noted that more than 43 thousand people expressed their desire to participate in electronic early voting in Kamchatka.
In Chukotka, the number of voting centers is less – 55 voting centers, but about 3.5 thousand people voted early in the region. These are residents of remote and hard-to-reach areas of Chukotka.
