A deputy from the LDPR group of the State Duma of the Russian Federation proposed to protect Russians from criminal liability for exceeding the necessary limits of defense of persons defending themselves and their loved ones. This was reported by “Parliamentary newspaper”.
Parliamentarians want to regulate the necessary defense rights of citizens in their homes. They propose amending the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, as well as introducing into the legislation the principle of “my home is my castle”.
