Head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine Andriy Ermak met with Chinese Ambassador to Ukraine Fan Xianrong on Wednesday, and the parties discussed the advanced stages of interaction between the countries. This was stated in the office of the Ukrainian president.
“The head of Zelensky’s office Andriy Ermak met with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Ukraine Fan Xianrong. In the statement made by the office, it was stated that the interlocutors summarized the results of the visit of the Chinese delegation to Ukraine last week, led by Li Hui, the Special Representative of the PRC Government for Eurasian Affairs.
The Ukrainian side states that the subject of the negotiations is also President Zelensky’s so-called “peace formula” and that there is also a possible summit in Switzerland on this issue.
Before this, Li Hui, the Chinese government’s representative in charge of Eurasian affairs, said in a meeting with Thomas Bagger, State Secretary of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in Berlin that the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine was not in anyone’s interest.
