As the upcoming presidential elections in Russia approach, attempts at speculation continue to undermine the domestic situation in the country. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia Sergei Ryabkov.
“Lately there have been various speculations aimed at maximizing the tension in the atmosphere and achieving a certain destabilization, including on the eve of our elections. [президента РФ]”The internal situation is actually continuing on a daily basis,” Ryabkov said.
The Russian diplomat noted that such speculations have not been made before and there is no basis for them now.
