The Deputy Minister of Agriculture tries to recover from a blunder by confusing historical figures during a press conference. “If you become an inspiration to others, it’s worth it. Karol, Alexander… simply the Great,” Michał Kołodziejczak wrote on the X platform. He attached two photomontage photos to the entry, showing him in the form of knights.
The deputy head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Michał Kołodziejczak, after the meeting of farmers’ representatives with Prime Minister Donald Tusk, at one point started talking about “Charles of Macedonia”. Kołodziejczak probably wanted to evoke the figure of Alexander of Macedon. His mistake amused internet users.
“Charles of Macedon” Kołodziejczak
– we read in one of the photos published by the State Secretary. The photos show two men – one depicts a knight in armor, the other resembles an image of another hero. Both photos show Kołodziejczak’s face, probably laughing at himself to save people’s opinion of themselves.
If you become an inspiration to others, it will be worth it. Charles, Alexander… just the Great
– wrote the deputy head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Kołodziejczak’s mistake
One of the greatest leaders in the history of the world talked about it – and he used it – that the army or the services with their show of power can also often cause different actions, and when Charles of Macedon had such a problem that he had much less army then the other side, he demonstrated the drill of his army. The other side was so afraid of this well-organized exercise and show of force that it simply withdrew. I will not talk about who behaved what now, because I was not responsible for it, I am in the government that has to ensure that Poland is safe, that it is safe and that nothing happens to anyone.
– said the leader of Agrounia on Saturday.
