It is difficult to consider Donald Tusk’s conversations with farmers as effective. The PO leader again focused on building a story rather than on a substantive solution to the problem. The Prime Minister could also count on the support of the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Michał Kołodziejczak, who, however, could not convince anyone of his arguments. The situation was commented on by PiS member Beata Szydło on the X website.
The former prime minister pointed out that the impact of the talks was not a surprise.

As expected, today Tusk again only pretended to talk to farmers, and then hid behind the back of his naive agricultural starter, which he sent to journalists to talk nonsense

Absurdities from the Tusk team
According to CIR, the “details” presented by Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the second meeting with the leaders of protesting farmers included “relaxing the provisions of the Green Deal, including primarily those related to set-aside, and assistance to to minimize grain surplus.” Meanwhile, representatives of the agricultural community themselves express their disappointment about the talks with the head of government.
In turn, after a meeting of farmers’ representatives with Donald Tusk, during which no agreement was reached, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Michał Kołodziejczak at one point started talking about… Charles of Macedonia. As you might guess, it was about Alexander of Macedon.
Apparently the only “concrete” thing for Donald Tusk is his complacency.
