After the National Council of the Civic Platform ended on Friday, police stopped road traffic for about ten minutes during rush hour, ‘Fakt’ reported and published photos with the party’s main politicians.
The PO National Council was attended by, among others: Head of Government Donald Tusk, the Chairman of the Party Borys Budka, the Vice Chairman of the Party and President of Warsaw Rafał Trzaskowski and the Deputy Chairman of the Sejm Monika Wielichowska, the Minister of Sports and Tourism Sławomir Nitras, the President of the Senate Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska.
The platform blocked traffic in Warsaw
As “Fakt” noted, drivers in Warsaw were stuck in a huge traffic jam as Platform politicians got into their limousines and went in different directions to other tasks or to their homes.
The former Minister of State Assets commented on the issue.

Limousines for the Tusk team
He also recalled that the Tusk government had announced a major tender for cars.
According to the announced tender, the limousines are to be supplied to the ministries of education, funds and regional policy. The office will lease 77 cars for two years. The new acquisitions will serve 24 institutions, but not only ministries, but also Central Bureau of Statistics and Patent Office, among others. The Ministry of Finance receives the most cars, no fewer than 9.

PO previously accused the PiS government of buying and renting limousines. The same applied to the public media, which received 2 billion złoty from the budget, which was sharply criticized. Tusk’s team wanted to donate PLN 3 billion. However, President Andrzej Duda blocked the budget law with such a proposal. It is clear that Platform politicians are accused of extravagance, and they themselves plan to spend even more money for their own convenience. Let’s also not forget that the Government Information Center reported that Prime Minister Tusk bought a 77-inch TV for the Prime Minister’s Chancellery for PLN 16,500 in January. zloty.
