“We have one goal: to preserve agriculture in Poland, so that we have something to live on and that the consumer finally understands how much he is being poisoned,” says Julita Olszewska, a farmer from Podlasie, in an interview with Aleksandra Jakubowska on Telewizja . wPolska, who took part in the protest yesterday.
Julita Olszewska, once deputy minister Kołodziejczak anxious a lawsuit for posting an uncomfortable recording on the internet, this time she referred to the words of PSL MP Urszula Pasławska, who said in Onet that the farmers demonstrating in Warsaw “may have been PiS militants”.
There’s nothing wrong with fueling up today. It could have been much worse. I listened to the statement of this PSL MP [Urszuli Pasławskiej – przyp. Red.] about PiS militias. Good to know, I will now tell my friends that we have a new nickname. There were “Russian bunnies”, everything was there, and now we are militias fighting for the survival of our families, villages and also consumers. And this was said by PSL, who came from rural areas. Such a stupid term, if there is nothing to say, it is better not to say anything
– said Olszewska.

Creating division
According to her, the proud announcements made by politicians of the ruling coalition before the protest in the capital were aimed at scaring farmers and creating artificial divisions among the demonstrators.
Why did Minister Kołodziejczak say that no real farmer would appear at this march? They were simply afraid of us because we were able to mobilize ourselves. The idea was primarily to scare people so they wouldn’t go; about dividing farmers
– she noted.
There were older people who came to Warsaw. A woman from Silesia came to me and said to me: “Girl, I believe in you, I come from mine.” Instead of saying something or saying nothing, no one even came to us, and now they describe us as hooligans
– she added.

Police provocations
Julita Olszewska revealed the shocking information she saw from the balconies of ul. In Wiejska, where the protest took place, stones flew from the balconies.
Are we hooligans who have apartments in ul. Nationally? Because the stones flew from there! I was in the crowd. In general, the police stood very well with the wind, when a cloud of gas was sprayed, the gas went with the wind in all directions towards our demonstration. There was such an action three times. I know – the first scream came from the balconies – they are throwing! At ul. Nationwide. We don’t have any apartments there, unless a farmer comes by to milk the cows and then goes back to Wiejska Street.
– she reported.

The farmer from Podlasie also noticed that among the police there were provocateurs who took off their uniforms and appeared in disguise in the crowd of demonstrating farmers.
One minute there was a police officer in uniform and half an hour or an hour later he was standing in plain clothes in the crowd and had just pushed someone against the railing. We were ready for these provocations, we knew we had to be careful and keep our eyes open because everything was on us. “Solidarity” RI was on a journey, the “Solidarity” of the workers went and we also came from the grassroots. We have one goal: to preserve agriculture in Poland, so that we have something to live on and that consumers finally understand how much they are being poisoned. Now they call us “hooligans”, but you will see how in a few years you will live without these “hooligans”!
– she said.
I hope that all those trade unionists who pretend to represent our interests, who say that the minister, if he is still the minister, should get out of there!
– Julita Olszewska responded bluntly.
