“There will be changes in the Green Deal under pressure from farmers,” Bogdan Rzońca told the portal wPolityce.pl. The MEP confirmed in an interview with us that “Commissioner Wojciechowski will announce tomorrow that the European Commission will propose new solutions regarding the Green Deal.” He said they are at an “embarrassingly low level” for now, but there may be a “snowball effect”.
According to unofficial information, the European Commission will, among other things, implement the pesticide regulation, ie the mandatory reduction of its use by 50%. The regulations were extremely unfair because they treated agriculture, for example Dutch agriculture – rich in fertilizers – on an equal footing with Polish agriculture, where very few chemicals are used. Tomorrow, EU Commissioner for Agriculture Janusz Wojciechowski will present proposals for changes to the Green Deal in the Sejm. This information was confirmed to the wPolityce.pl portal by PiS MEP Bogdan Rzońca.
Tomorrow, Commissioner Wojciechowski will announce that the European Commission will propose new solutions related to the Green Deal. Unfortunately these changes are at an embarrassingly low level, although necessary they prove the weakness of the EU and the current ruling team
– said the Law and Justice politician.

Snowball effect?
MEP Rzońca did not hide that Brussels officials were afraid of the agricultural protests spreading across Europe.
Changes will be made to the Green Deal under pressure from farmers. Perhaps we will have a snowball effect on the current team that has weakened the current European economy. Not only farmers are protesting, but also entrepreneurs who run their business outside the EU, and Kowalski will also have increasingly expensive products. Just look at ETS, and soon at ETS-2, which will affect everyone: taxes on car fuels, gas and fines for under-insulating the house
– said Rzońca, who warned against looking naively at the announcements of changes in the Green Deal.
However, I don’t believe they will give up completely, otherwise they would admit to being totally embarrassed. That would be embarrassing. So much effort, so much legislation, different types of programs, guarantees, printing on paper, and suddenly it turns out that the farmers are right. This proves the weakness of the leaders of the European Union and their total ineptitude and lack of reliable social analysis in introducing many solutions, not just the Green Deal.
– said the PiS member.
It is clear that everything is done on the knee, or for applause and for big companies, because the issues related to the Green Deal – photovoltaics, wind farms, electric cars – are huge. They weaken the economic capacity of the entire European Union.
– it cannot be ignored that the entire operation of changing the provisions of the Green Deal is forced by growing social discontent and the upcoming elections to the European Parliament.
This is an election game and throwing a smokescreen to warm the atmosphere of the EPP, the Greens and the Liberals. But all this is too late, because if they actually win this election, they will do the same. I encourage all voters in the European elections in June to ask the candidates about their programs and views on the Green Deal and the EU’s economic future. Everyone who votes needs to know what a particular party and candidate has done over the past five years and what they will do in the future
– appealed against Bogdan Rzońca.
