Yesterday, farmers prepared a resolution calling on the government to take immediate action aimed at defending the interests of the Polish countryside, but also of the entire economy of our country.
In this resolution we have included the main demands of the farmers’ strike, but also to hold parliamentarians accountable for truthfulness in the future

Law and Justice supports farmers’ demands and a recording of former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki’s statement was posted on the social media profiles of the main opposition formation. The Member of Parliament refers, among other things, to the above-mentioned resolution and calls on those in power to take action.

The resolution obliges the government to take immediate action that will protect the interests of the Polish countryside and the entire Polish economy. Mr Prime Minister and Mr Marshal, since you cannot solve the problems of rural Poland alone, it is time to start listening to those who know what they are doing. Farmers are the best experts on the Polish countryside

As the MP points out, the government has three problems that need to be solved:
Introducing a complete embargo on agricultural products from Russia and Ukraine, introducing subsidies for farmers to simply make their agricultural and breeding production profitable, and above all, eliminating the stupidities in the European Green Deal, such as shutting down or banning use of crop protection products, which makes farming difficult for Polish farmers
– emphasizes the vice president of PiS.
Finally, Mateusz Morawiecki appealed to the current authorities:
This is not the time to be silent, this is not the time to wait.
