Poczta Polska decided to suspend the distribution of the anniversary stamp depicting Major Hieronim Dekutowski “Zapora”. Anita Czerwińska from PiS started a parliamentary intervention on this issue. She talked about it on TV in Poland.

Parliamentary intervention
Czerwińska initiated a parliamentary intervention at Poczta Polska’s headquarters.
On March 1 we were in the Polish post office. I was accompanied by editor Tadeusz Płużański. We demanded answers. I submitted a question as part of a parliamentary intervention. Unfortunately, no one from management was present. I had difficulty with the less than competent statements of the press spokesperson. Of course, I will demand an answer to the question of who issued such a decision, what is its justification, why it happened, where these stamps are and whether other stamps have been withheld, because we have information that other stamps are related to the national memory are also withheld.

I think the president of Poczta Polska just knows what to do. And this requires a response from all of us. Because it will be a systematic battle against memory, a systematic falsification of history and slander against Polish heroes
– she said.
The MP then appealed to viewers.
Just as freedom is not given once and for all, it must be fought for, so too does historical memory, historical truth, reveal. It must be cherished and its falsification must be combated
– she said.
