“We see how the December 13 coalition does not respect the provisions of the Constitution and tries to block all the investments that we have started and that are important for the development, future and security of Poland. Strong leadership from the opposition and the authority of the president are needed to survive this difficult time and at the same time prepare for victories and govern the country,” Maria Koc, a Law and Justice MP, told wPolityce.pl -portal. referring to PiS President Jarosław Kaczyński’s interview for the weekly magazine “Sieci”: “I stay, we keep fighting.”
Jarosław Kaczyński, in an interview with editors Jacek and Michał Karnowski, which will be published in the last issue of “Sieci” Weekly, clearly states that he will run for the leadership of PiS again in 2025.
Our political camp now needs unity, decisive leadership and a swift offensive. That’s why I changed my political plans. I previously estimated that leading the party until 2025 would be sufficient
– says the former deputy prime minister in an interview entitled ‘I stay, we keep fighting. Because Poland is at stake.

“The statement that many Poles have been waiting for”
We asked Law and Justice MP Maria Koc to comment on the PiS leader’s statement and the uproar this announcement caused (Prime Minister Donald Tusk, among others, spoke on the X platform).
The president stated that he would seek further leadership in PiS. I think this is the explanation that many Poles have been waiting for. These are difficult times, we see the law being broken every day in Poland. We see how the December 13 coalition does not respect the provisions of the Constitution and tries to block all the investments that we have started and that are important for the development, future and security of Poland.
– says the politician.
Strong leadership from the opposition and the authority of the president are needed to survive this difficult time while preparing for victories and governance of the country. Unfortunately, the losses Poland will suffer as a result of their rule will be enormous, given the devastation the December 13 Coalition is already causing. We need the president’s wisdom and cooperative skills, but also an authority that stands with the United Right and can lead to victory as before.
– adds the interlocutor of the wPolityce.pl portal.

“Tusk’s Just Afraid”
Is this really “good news” for Prime Minister Donald Tusk – as he wrote on the X platform – or can we rather talk about “a good face for a bad game”? Does Tusk really have any reason to be happy in this situation?
Donald Tusk plays as usual. He hoped that he would have a reason to be happy, namely that the president would retire and someone else would take over the rule of the right wing. And all this speculation in the media: who will be the next president, someone is preparing and someone else is not, fueling and heating up these kinds of discussions was intended to bring about some changes.
– says Maria Koc.
Tusk is clearly counting on them, because he knows that without the strong leadership, authority and charisma of Jarosław Kaczyński, the right wing would have much weaker chances of regaining power and much less strength.
– he adds.
The current Prime Minister is an actor, he always acts. He writes one thing, says another and thinks another. We are already used to this and Poland treats his tweets with a grain of salt. Tusk even fears that Jarosław Kaczyński will still be effective in politics, that he will continue to play the first fiddle on the opposition side, the United Right.
– underlined.
The prime minister was counting on this strongest political opponent to be eliminated, but that turned out to make no difference. Tusk’s entry proves that he’s just scared
– summarizes the PiS MP.
