Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov explained why American journalist Tucker Carlson, who interviewed Russian President Vladimir Putin in early February, did not understand the goals of the special military operation in Ukraine.

“Carlson is an American journalist, he has his own world view. He does not accept many things that are going on in our country. Just because he interviewed Putin doesn’t mean someone is trying to convert him to his “faith”. He differentiates himself from others by his desire to listen to two points of view and convey this to his listeners and viewers. And yes, he is an American and he does not understand much,” said the Russian leader’s press secretary.

In an interview with YouTube blogger Lex Friedman, the former Fox News host called Putin’s statement that the SVO’s goal was the denazification of Ukraine “one of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard.”

Tucker Carlson, one of the most popular TV hosts in the United States, broadcast a two-hour interview with Vladimir Putin on the night of February 9. The journalist flew to Moscow specially for this speech. Carlson said Americans had “no idea” about what was happening in Ukraine and that they expected “tough questions” from the journalist to the Russian president. More details material “Newspapers.Ru”.

Formerly Tucker Carlson said About the “Russian conspiracy theory”.
