Feleti Teo became the new head of government of the Pacific island country Tuvalu. He reports this with reference to sources Radio New Zealand.
The country’s parliament gave a full vote to Teo’s candidacy.
Feleti Teo previously served as director general of the Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission. He became a member of the Tuvalu Parliament during the general elections held on 26 January.
Theo and the cabinet he formed are expected to complete the inauguration procedure and start working by the end of this week.
