“It was not Donald Tusk, but farmers who put so much pressure on the government and the European Commission. In turn, the EC does not know what to do, so it promises that it will act quickly, just as Mrs von der Leyen said yesterday,” Bogdan Rzońca, MEP for Law and Justice, told the portal wPolityce.pl.

Yesterday, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, praised the efforts of the current government to “restore the rule of law” in Poland and promised two decisions regarding the release of resources from the Cohesion Fund and NextGenerationEU, i.e. recovery fund. Prime Minister Donald Tusk was happy that “a real mountain of money” would come to our country.
““A typical social engineering procedure”
Did the head of the Polish government really have anything to be happy about yesterday and was the rule of law, which was reportedly so damaged for eight years, restored in two months? Or perhaps it was actually about something completely different and the head of the European Commission revealed it yesterday? The wPolityce.pl portal spoke about this topic with PiS member Bogdan Rzoniec.
This is a typical social engineering operation. In fact, this promise (because it is still just a promise) to unblock KPO funds for Poland was made under pressure from farmers. It was not Donald Tusk, but farmers who put so much pressure on the government and the European Commission. The European Commission, in turn, does not know what to do and therefore promises to act quickly, as Mrs von der Leyen said yesterday.
– says the politician.
It is not Donald Tusk, but the farmers who are causing this acceleration. I am very skeptical about these kinds of statements from Mrs von der Leyen. Three weeks ago, during a meeting of one of the committees, Prof. Marek Belka asked when the KPO will be restored to Poland. The answer was: when will the “milestones” be completed?
– he adds.
And there the discussion ended. So it all seems like a typical visit to ease the pain that is happening to Donald Tusk from the farmers and to support the Prime Minister in the trouble he is currently in with everything he is proposing to Poland.
– says the MEP.
Of course, I won’t say that it would be a bad thing if this money came. On the contrary, it’s good that they finally did. Yet it has nothing to do with the so-called negotiation of all the “milestones” and noble announcements that Poland meets certain conditions and receives the money
– says Bogdan Rzońca.
The EU operated all along simply under the slogan ‘street and abroad’; the idea was to overthrow the United Right government. Today we have such a situation, but the great hoax that has taken place in the last two years has and will certainly be exposed. Besides, they’ve already ruined the whole KPO story
– says the interlocutor of wPolityce.pl.
Where do subsidies for farmers come from?
I think that European officials need to be given very serious instructions to release these funds, because as far as I know the procedures within the EU, it is not that simple that a politician says something and it happens. In my opinion, the road to KPO is still long
– says MEP Rzońca.
It is also strange, to say the least, that Mrs von der Leyen said, and Tusk repeated, that a significant part of this money goes to farmers. This money was described where it should go. And there was no discussion at all about subsidies for farmers. Yes, they would go to entrepreneurs, including the agri-food processing industry, but today the EU has a different problem
– seek attention.
Farmers are currently not talking about processing, but about agricultural production. And the EU cannot handle this, as we can see in France, where Macron was defeated today by the farmers
– says the politician.

PO politicians hope to escape to Brussels. Has Von der Leyen come to help them?
According to the interlocutor of the wPolityce.pl portal, the visit of the President of the European Commission yesterday was intended to express support for Prime Minister Donald Tusk, but probably nothing else.
I think Von der Leyen, as usual, came out with support for Donald Tusk, but that’s it for now
– says Rzońca.
Can we also speak of some form of support for the current government in connection with the upcoming elections for the European Parliament and local authorities?
We know that some PO politicians are already moving their legs to escape responsibility for what they are doing right now, for breaking the law in Poland, under the umbrella of EP immunity. They will want to run, so it is definitely support before the elections
– he adds.
But the situation is developing rapidly and I believe that the Poles are opening their eyes more and more. I wouldn’t worry about polls, I would worry about what regular people who haven’t been polled say. They see what happened in Poland and how the Polish government is destructively affecting our security and economy, how it wants to slow down all activities that could elevate us to the rank of a country that really counts in the economy and European security. Certainly, this pre-election “support” was one of the messages of Mrs. von der Leyen’s visit
– emphasizes the MEP.
