Russia’s Central Election Commission has requested the dismissal of another lawsuit filed by politician Boris Nadezhdin, who challenged the CEC’s refusal to register him as a candidate for the presidency of the Russian Federation. This was reported by RIA News.

“We believe that this decision (on refusal of registration – socialbites.ca) cannot be annulled,” said CEC lawyer Sergei Sakharov.

He noted that the reason Nadezhdin refused to register was the insufficient number of valid voter signatures.
