The Finnish Ministry of Internal Affairs has initiated work on a new draft law to combat instrumental migration and strengthen border security. The press service of the Ministry reports this and writes TASS.

“Finland must be prepared for the possibility of prolonged pressure from Russia,” the press release states.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, adjustments to local legislation will be used as a last resort in order to prepare for the most serious situations.

The publication states that work on the projects should be completed by March 31 this year, after which the initiative will be submitted to parliament for consideration.
