“The devastating wave of consequences of their activities will come faster than I predicted, and no Brussels alibi will help them, the Poles will simply resist it,” Dominik Tarczyński said in an interview with wPolityce.pl. For example, he commented on Adam Bodnar’s visit to Brussels, where he would present a plan to “restore the rule of law” in Poland. “Their breaking the law is causing chaos, they need an alibi for what they are doing now,” the PiS member emphasized.
Today, Minister Bodnar met with the Deputy Head of the European Commission, Vera Jourova, and Commissioner Didier Reynders, to present them with a plan to “restore the rule of law” in Poland. As EU officials emphasized at the conference, this is “an important step towards ending Poland’s proceedings under Art. 7″. MEP Dominik Tarczynski commented on Bodnar’s visit to Brussels for the wPolityce.pl portal.
They accused PiS of violating the rule of law, and now they must seek help to justify their violation of the law precisely on the basis of the rule of law. Nothing new, same helpers, same support, just the situation has changed. They need an excuse and an alibi for what they are doing now. Europe gives them an alibi, but the whole world doesn’t give them one, it’s actually only a Brussels alibi. The world is watching and this is likely where more information about endangered investments is coming from. About the fact that some people are withdrawing from their investments, as is the case with manufacturers of batteries for electric cars. They make large investments, while others withdraw on their own
– said the PiS member, noting that what the Tusk government and his coalition are doing today is creating big surprises around the world and uncertainty about the investments that Poland so desperately needs.
Their violation of the law causes chaos, creates fear of investment, which translates into the loss of real jobs and taxes flowing into the Polish budget. I no longer remember the fall in VAT revenues in December, which was historically significant: by more than 30 percent.
– emphasizes Dominik Tarczyński.

The Brussels alibi is not enough
A wave of violent agricultural protests is sweeping across Europe and Poland. Tarczyński believes that in Poland we may have to deal with its strengthening, because in a while the decisions of the Tusk government will hit the pockets of ordinary citizens hard.
We won’t have to wait long for the consequences of their rule. 60 days have passed and three major disasters have occurred. It is about the media and the public prosecutor’s office and how the courts and the National Council for the Judiciary responded to these actions. This Brussels alibi will not be enough to stop the Poles from opposing it. Their harmful actions will translate into a drop in investments, a drop in budget revenues, taxes and jobs, and that is why Poles will respond. The devastating consequences of their activities will occur sooner than I expected. I thought it would be after six months, maybe after a year, but next month we will have very serious consequences from their decision. June started with an 80% increase in energy prices. – when it comes to apartments for two people, but in general also increases for everyone – and the withdrawal of tax credits for electricity, we will have huge price increases not only of energy, but also of all other products, including food
– says the Law and Justice politician.
The wave of reluctance that farmers generated in response to the madness spread by IPP, that is, Tusk’s party in Europe, will be reinforced by the wave of reluctance resulting from what they are doing in Poland. No Brussels alibi will help them. The Poles will simply resist this. I believe this government will not survive its term
– explains MEP Tarczyński.

Bodnar battles
While in Brussels, Bodnar stated that he was fighting for the rule of law, for “fundamental issues for Poland, for which so many citizens fought on the streets, that we must do everything in our power to restore the rule of law and implement the necessary reforms that Poland expect.” Tarczyński also commented on these words.
When Bodnar, who was in the opposition at the time, calls the struggle for the rule of law the threats of burning churches, destroying churches, destroying government buildings, the threat of destroying and taking over state institutions by force, then we have such an understanding of the law as ‘they understand it’. This is what Tusk said: “we will apply the law as we understand it.” This leads to destruction, to deviation, to chaos in the country. It is their understanding of the law that will make Poles resist it. Tusk will feel this because the nation will not tolerate the fact that its chaos imposes enormous costs, impoverishes society, poses an energy threat and generates a security threat due to the disintegration of the military. It is impossible to maintain such power in the long term by linguistic means alone
– said the ECR MP.
I spoke about this yesterday in the Committee on Foreign Trade, when the left and the IPP supported the expansion of trade liberalization with Ukraine. It can’t be solved just by the language you use. They use words and describe reality differently than it is. This will not change the situation of Poles and farmers. They can of course invert meanings and describe reality in an inverted way, but this does not change the state of the Polish wallet. This will lead to the fall of this government
– summarized the PiS politician.
