German Chancellor Olaf Scholz described the signing of an agreement with Ukraine on “security guarantees” for Kiev as a historic step. The relevant post appeared on his page. social network X (formerly Twitter).
“Vladimir Zelensky and I signed today an agreement on our long-term security commitments. A historic step,” Scholz wrote.
The German Chancellor emphasized that Germany will continue to support Ukraine in the conflict with Russia and ended the broadcast with the slogan “Glory to Ukraine”.
Before that Ukraine and Germany signed Bilateral agreement on security guarantees. The bilateral agreement was signed during Zelensky’s visit to Berlin.
