More than 200 streets were renamed in the city of Zhmerinka in the Vinnytsia region of Ukraine. Local publication “Zhmerinka city” reported this.
At the 43rd session of the Zhmerinsky City Council, deputies approved new avenue and street names.
In particular, the street named after Yuri Gagarin was renamed Zaporozhye Cossacks, Maxim Gorky – Krut Heroes, Decembrists Street was renamed Stepan Bandera Street, Lev Dovator was renamed Simon Petlyura Street.
