Former President of Moldova, Igor Dodon, likened the country’s European integration into the EU to a “carrot” for the people. He wrote this in his book telegram channel.
“They (Moldovan authorities – editor’s note) want our people to be poor and illiterate. They think it will then be easier to lead people and show them the carrot of European integration,” Dodon said.
He emphasized that Moldovan President Maia Sandu’s strategy is to “destroy everything”, which is why authorities are closing universities and hospitals. Dodon said Moldova’s current authorities are “real liquidators.”
