“If we wanted to think about Tusk’s lies, that’s all we had to do. It is not worth it,” party leader Jarosław Kaczyński said in response to questions about Pegasus at the Law and Justice press conference.
The PiS president was asked whether the current uncertain and dangerous international situation, also in the context of Donald Trump’s statements, is the best idea to raise the issue of reparations from Germany.

Reparations
If you think this way, you can always think of reasons why you should not raise such issues, because they are the subject of a dispute and therefore there should not be a dispute. This was in fact the policy that the Polish authorities pursued after 1989, and of course the communist authorities also pursued such a policy, although for other reasons – they were the authorities of a colony, a protectorate – they did not have independence here. As for the importance of this issue, it fits perfectly into both the need to resist Russian imperialism and the need to resist German neo-imperialism. Such neo-imperialism, because such symptoms show that we will soon be able to speak a harsher language here, is a perfectly clear fact.
– he said.
The desire to dominate Europe, to gain power over countries like Poland, is precisely imperialism and the lack of moral principles and reflection on one’s own history. (…) The policy of constantly going backwards, constantly admitting that we are inferior, and constantly preaching national minimalism is a policy that may suit some people, but not more ambitious Poles and those who just want to be Poles. We are among the most ambitious people and among those who want to be Poland. And those who say that even the CPK cannot be built are playing a comedy aimed at those who are very insecure and constantly live with a feeling of inferiority.
– Jarosław Kaczyński added.
The opposition leader announced that he supports the restriction of fur farming, which will be presented by the parliamentary coalition in the form of a bill, but PiS has not yet taken a comprehensive position on the issue.
Of course, I have always been against it, but no decision has yet been made by the party authorities on this issue
– revealed Jarosław Kaczyński.

Pegasus
The PiS president was also asked whether the case of Pegasus and Fr would be discussed at the meeting of the party’s top management. words of Prime Minister Tusk at the Cabinet Council, where he spoke about providing the president with documents intended to prove the truth of the claim about the wiretapping of politicians.
I have heard so many different fairy tales of Donald Tusk, for example about the Smolensk disaster, even recordings that later turned out to be completely false, that if I don’t believe anyone, and I don’t believe them at all, it’s Tusk. By the way, I didn’t know him then, but my late friend did know him. Brother, he has even said some good things about him, but to say that he is just a terrible liar and is not to be believed at all. That was a long time ago, we were still young people then, but Tusk did not change and the disease just became more and more serious. If we wanted to think about Tusk’s lies, that’s all we had to do. Not worth it
– said the PiS president.
I know that all telephone taps have been approved by both the Public Prosecution Service and the court, and as far as I know, but I have no detailed knowledge of this matter, and Prime Minister Morawiecki has certainly not been tapped. Everything here is a very ugly inflated balloon. (…) Everything that was done was in accordance with the Polish national interest, the needs of the services, the fight against both criminal and espionage crimes
– he added.
Boycott neoTVP
An employee of neoTVP Info also tried to ask the question, but he was not allowed to speak, as Jarosław Kaczyński argued, citing the illegal takeover of public media by Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz’s nominees.
I believe that our Constitution contains a serious loophole, that is, it is impossible to quickly put an end to such cases and quickly punish people who use violence to change the state system, and the status of the public media is part of the system. This is a major deficiency in our Constitution and I hope the time will come when this deficiency will be corrected. And if anyone tries to do something like that, he or she is immediately treated accordingly. For now we just can’t talk
– he explained.
Jarosław Kaczyński also rejected suggestions that MEP Prof. Ryszard Legutko was humiliated by the fact that Dominik Tarczyński remained head of the PiS delegation in the European Parliament.
I have not humiliated anyone, I appreciate Prof. Legutka, and when it comes to the basis of these purely intra-party decisions: these are not subject to public consideration anywhere in the world
– noted the opposition leader.
