Am I the only one who sees the absurdity of this situation? Since the December 13 government elections, there has been a national plea for the authorities not to hinder Poland’s development.
Like dogs, we all stand on two legs at the feet of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Donald Tusk, and together we pray for:
-
he did not hinder the country’s development by destroying the CPK project
-
has not blocked the expansion of seaports
-
has not stopped the necessary investments in nuclear power plants
-
he did not destroy the expanding army, which was forced to face the growing threat of attack
-
it did not reflect Germany’s issue of reparations
– he did not sell the remains of national wealth
Etc etc.
We note here some successes, such as a great wave of support for the CPK, and failures, such as today’s tribute from Berlin, which took all the pressure off Germany. We mobilize around these issues, we debate what type of argumentation will reach the mind and heart of the ruler, although the existence of the latter is not certain.
We analyze what may be true, but tactically unwise.
Even members of the coalition that put Mr Tusk in power are participating in our games. There they vote for people who will destroy the leap forward in the quality of public transport, here they worry about the fate of these projects.
There is open gossip in the Sejm that everything is just theater, but apparently the suspension was agreed, arranged and paid for with the Germans.
These are really interesting debates.
And so the next days pass. The list of threatened issues is long and everything that Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczyński’s camp has developed must be put under the knife. Even the sharp move with the sudden reduction of the project to build a hundred ring roads does not impress us; the residents of the cities affected by this decision, who often voted for hearts and third roads, can now write to Berdyczów.
Yet we beg, whine and plead.
The ruler listens attentively – sometimes he frowns, sometimes he blinks, often he misses the truth without blinking, but in no time he comes within two feet of the truth. You can tell more about wax than these distortions, because after all the facts are indisputable: funding applications are not submitted, deadlines are missed, their fierce opponents join the authorities of individual institutions responsible for the projects.
Has anyone ever seen someone who doesn’t want to build anything?
How did we get to this point? How did this happen? What did the Poles vote for? Are they that stupid or have they been deceived? Did they want PiS projects without PiS, or maybe they don’t care?
They want national development to be carried out by Berlin’s loyal servants? Do they want effective competition with the West by putting a man at the helm who only bows there?
National schizophrenia? Big deception?
Am I the only one who sees the absurdity of this situation?
