Former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki emphasized on Saturday in Lubartów (Lubelskie Voivodeship) that he did not want “Polish children to work as subcontractors for Germans in ten years’ time.” In this way he commented on the planned changes in the Polish education system.
During a meeting with the residents of Lubartów, Mateusz Morawiecki asked the ruling coalition: what are their ideas for further freezing of electricity prices, what is the future with inflation, what are the plans for arming the Polish army. He also referred to the announced changes in the education system.
Why, without consulting parents, do you introduce the principle that Polish students should be less educated – because of the lack of homework – than in Western systems, than in Korea, than in China, the United States
– mentioned the former Prime Minister.
I don’t want Polish children to work as subcontractors or laborers for Germans, Chinese, Koreans or French in about twelve years’ time.
– he emphasized.
He criticized the government’s actions regarding, among other things, illegal migration, the container port in Świnoujście, the Central Communications Port and the announced changes in the judiciary.
We must keep an eye on Poland, because what is happening now before our eyes threatens very serious consequences, and all this is happening with a siren song that puts the Poles to sleep.
– said Morawiecki.
“Anti-PiS”; “Eight Stars”
He asked what the coalition’s idea for governing Poland was.
On this anti-PiS party, on these eight stars that you draw on your forehead
– he said.
Addressing the audience, he asked them to imagine what Poland will look like in ten years’ time, in 2034.
Should Poland be the tiger of Central and Eastern Europe (…) or do we want to be a European average?
– Morawiecki asked rhetorically, calling for support for PiS candidates in the upcoming local elections.
He also referred to the assumptions of changes in EU treaties. According to Morawiecki, if they all come into effect, they will mean that in the future the prime minister and president will have “less power than the voivode in the Voivodeship.”
They can decide on the tax for dogs and cycle paths
– he said.
