The leader of Polska 2050, Szymon Hołownia, after a series of media reports that people associated with his party work for companies of the Ministry of Finance, decided to announce that no person employed or belonging to Polska 2050 will be nominated for supervisory boards. Michał Gniatkowski, a lawyer from Poznań and activist of Poland 2050, who became a member of the supervisory board of Enea SA, disagreed with Hołownia’s position. In a statement, he announced that he was willing to give up his party membership just to keep his position.
Ban on appointment of party workers to boards and works councils. Ban on appointing members of parliament and local government officials to boards of directors and boards of companies. Ban on financing of parties by members of management and works councils. Changes start with ourselves. No person employed or belonging to Poland 2050 will be nominated for supervisory boards. If such people exist today, they will resign
– he announced Szymon Hołownia. However, he does not intend to resign from his position on the Supervisory Board of Enea SA Michał Gniatkowski. The lawyer announced that he was willing to resign from Poland’s membership in 2050 just to keep his position.
I am closely following the debate on the appointments to the SSP supervisory boards. I do not fully understand why it is not possible to be at the same time an expert who enjoys the confidence of the government coalition, a candidate for the Supervisory Board and at the same time a person who enjoys social trust in a given situation. city, i.e. a candidate in local government elections. I also don’t quite understand why three years of social activity in the context of the struggle for the rule of law should condemn a lawyer to be in a worse position compared to someone who “didn’t get his hands dirty” with such activities. .
– He wrote Michał Gniatkowski.
I treat my recent appointment by the new coalition government as a member of the Supervisory Board of Enea SA very seriously – as a participation in the mission to remedy the situation in key SSPs. In the course of its activities, the Supervisory Board has already started the procedure for selecting a new composition of the Board of Directors. This procedure should be fast, professional and uninterrupted and even help set new standards.
– he pointed out.
““I will stop party activities with immediate effect.”
I hope that Poland 2050, as well as other parties of the ruling coalition, will develop detailed solutions regarding the election of SSP authorities in the near future. If necessary, I can suspend or renounce my party membership at any time. For the sake of clarity of the situation, I am unilaterally terminating my party activities with immediate effect, which I will inform my party circle today.. Today I will not participate in the votes in the Regional Council. You are a specialist (legal advisor), but only a party member.
– he emphasized.
P.S. I would like to inform the representatives of the Poznań media (as well as the residents and residents of Poznań) who ask me a question about my candidacy for the mayor of Poznań that for obvious reasons I cannot make any specific statements about this.
– added.
As you can see, Szymon Hołownia’s decision did not please everyone in Poland in 2050.
