Former President of the Republic of Poland Lech Wałęsa gave a geopolitical lecture in his own style in the United States. The former leader of NSZZ “Solidarity” expressed several controversial opinions, such as the comment that “we in Europe must change to the state of Europe” or “if you do not listen to the old Wałęsa, we will destroy civilization.”
In his analysis, Lech Wałęsa accused Western civilization of failing to lead to the final fall of Russia and China by dissolving the communist system. Hence – according to him – the current problems of the modern world.
Everything was demolished here to build something new. We didn’t destroy it completely, because only Russia and China remained. During those changes, breaking up was impossible, but today it becomes possible. The whole world has rallied against Russia, so we have a great chance to finally bring order to this world. In this arrangement, fate has given leadership to the United States and the country cannot go back. If we don’t take advantage of this situation, our grandchildren will not forgive us. We have both Russia and China in our grasp
– Wałęsa noticed.
Propaganda
The Nobel Peace Prize winner said the United States must increase its propaganda efforts in the fight against the West’s enemies.
In my opinion, as a revolutionary, the methods of struggle must be changed. In this battle that we are fighting today, the United States must fight more with propaganda, recognize the entire Russian environment and note that all those Russians are being killed and the masses of Russians are being killed. Your propaganda should read: Russians, look, your neighbor is gone, Putin has already dealt with him, and the neighbor who lives below you – her son is already dead, tomorrow it will be you! Wait for the call! Do you want to die? Listen, listen to us, experienced people. You have to change the political system. The head of state of Russia or China cannot serve more than two five-year terms
– he assessed.
We finally have a chance to put the world to rights. If you don’t do this – listen to the revolutionary – Russia will reach for you tomorrow. The United States must lead, and if you don’t want to, give it to Poland and we will lead
– added.
The destruction of civilization
Lech Wałęsa expressed his dissatisfaction abroad that Poles chose the right eight years ago. He drew comparisons with the American presidential elections and warned Americans against the election of Donald Trump.
Because there are no solutions, politicians and demagogues are speaking out. We made a bad choice once and I also see that there is something wrong with you. Discuss it quickly so you don’t make the same mistake as the Poles. On a global level, the United States should have solutions, just like Germany, France and Italy in continental Europe
– he said.
Wałęsa even threatened to destroy our civilization if his voice was not heard. Interestingly, he also acknowledged Poland’s responsibility for Russian aggression against Ukraine.
If you don’t listen to old Wałęsa, we will destroy the civilization we live in. In my concept we would join NATO and the EU together: Ukraine, Belarus, Poland. I left this movement before the second presidential term and lost the term. Poland managed to escape to the EU and NATO, but Ukraine remained. And therefore, if Poland had not escaped, Poland would be at war with Russia today. So we feel like we are the perpetrators of some of this
– said the Nobel Prize winner.
European superstate
According to him, it is also necessary to unite the European countries into one super state.
And how happy Russia would be if he helped the United States. In Europe we have to switch to the state of Europe, and we are still a state. If I had your education and your money, I would do it
– he emphasized.
