Jarosław Kaczyński answered questions from journalists in the Sejm. The president of PiS noted, among other things: in favor of farmers’ protests.
When asked about the blockades that farmers are organizing across the country, Jarosław Kaczyński replied:
The protests are justified. (…) If Ukraine becomes a member of the EU, these matters will have to be settled one way or another.
He also drew attention to the threat to European and especially Polish agriculture in the event of Ukraine’s accession to the European Union.
This matter will have to be dealt with separately
– he said.
The PiS president then recalled the activities of the European Union.
I don’t believe that people like Timmermans don’t know the consequences of their actions. Ideological madness destroying Europe
– he said.
Mandates of Kamiński and Wąsik
Referring to the case of MPs Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik, the PiS president spoke about the importance of the Supreme Court’s disciplinary chamber.
If it is not a court, then this Sejm is not a Sejm. (…) The principle introduced by the Civic Platform that their will is law works
– he said.
When journalists asked whether Monika Pawłowska might take over Mariusz Kamiński’s mandate, the PiS president replied unequivocally:
There is no free mandate, the marshal breaks the law and that’s it. I advise you to read the Supreme Court Act, which chamber has the right to decide these cases. And this chamber has made clear decisions and there is no appeal against them.
