The sale of American Javelin anti-tank systems to Kosovo would be a serious violation of previously adopted UN resolutions. This opinion was expressed by First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Dmitry Polyansky. TASS.
“This provocative step would be a gross violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1244,” Polyansky said.

UN Security Council Resolution 1244 was adopted in June 1999.
