Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the draft decree approving an updated strategy for scientific and technological development should be submitted within a week. This was reported by TASS.
“At the last council meeting, we agreed to make changes to the Scientific and Technological Development Strategy. Today I propose to discuss its updated edition. “I ask you to make the necessary clarifications and additions, taking our discussions into account,” he said.
Putin also emphasized that Russia should provide its own technologies and necessary products in all key areas.
“We need to set goals to take leading positions in global markets where we have or have unique competencies,” he added.
