“Do you remember this gentleman sitting in the Sejm meeting room among the KO/P’2050 MPs at the time of the vote on the wind farm bill? He currently speaks before the Environmental Protection Committee. He is attacking PiS MPs,” Dariusz Matecki, MP of Sovereign Poland, said on social media.
We are talking about Marek Wójcik, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs at the Ministry of Administration and Digitalization in 2014-2015, when Andrzej Halicki, one of the most important PO politicians, headed the ministry. On December 7, he became known to Poles during the Sejm session as being very interested in voting on the wind farm law.
“Lobbyist, lobbyist!”
– PiS MPs then sang.
First of all, I’m not a lobbyist. I am not included in any such register. I have been employed by the Sejm for several decades and have served on various committees
— Marek Wójcik tried to defend and explain himself in an interview with Wirtualna Polska.
Back in the Sejm
Mr Wójcik returned to the Sejm – straight to the meeting of the Committee on the Environment, Natural Resources and Forestry.
The program of today’s deliberations of the commission – as we read on the Sejm website – includes, among other things: taking into account the information provided by the Supreme Court of Auditors on the results of the audit of the activities of public bodies related to the ecological crisis on the Oder River and information about activities aimed at preventing the Oder River from being poisoned by golden algae blooms.
He currently speaks before the Environmental Protection Committee. He attacks PiS parliamentarians
— MEP Dariusz Matecki reports on the activities during the committee meeting.
As usual in such cases, Wójcik’s return to the Sejm, announced by Matecki on the X platform, did not escape the attention of Internet users.
What a paradox in the Sejm of Hołownia: MPs Wąsik and Kamiński cannot enter the meeting room. Well, this gentleman, even if he is not an MP, could work with Hołownia. “Art is art.” They will find another one like this and it will be the 460th in the room
– noted one of them.
It would be worth adding that on December 7, 2023, on the day of the vote on the wind farm bill, the Marshal Guard was less decisive than today towards Kamiński and Wąsik. And this was about a non-MP in the Sejm session, where Wójcik simply had no right to be there!
