“We are postponing the date of entry into force of a number of provisions of the National Oncology Network,” Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Ministry of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said after the government meeting. The PSL leader chaired the Council of Ministers meeting in place of Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who is on vacation.
National Oncology Network – the date of entry into force of some regulations has been postponed!
During Tuesday’s meeting, the government adopted a draft amendment to the National Oncology Network Act.

We have just finished the meeting of the Council of Ministers. We discussed the topic of the National Oncology Network at the initiative of the Minister of Health, Izabela Leszczyna. We have made a decision that will give 7.5 thousand people the opportunity to use all available therapeutic methods in all hospitals in Poland. patients from 259 hospitals who can continue to receive oncological treatment
– said Deputy Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz.
The PSL leader quickly moved to accuse the previous ruling team!
The National Oncology Network Act came into effect last year, but our predecessors did not prepare implementing acts for this law, nor did they prepare for the full entry into force of all elements (…). 7 of the 9 regulations have not yet been drawn up. We are therefore postponing the date of entry into force of a number of regulations of the National Oncological Network and thus retaining the possibility of using all oncological therapies in all hospitals that currently offer this therapy.
– he hit.
Journalists asked Kosiniak-Kamysz what the government has to offer cancer patients this year. The Deputy Prime Minister stated that “KSO is functioning.”
Some of the regulations regarding certain parameterization of hospitals at certain levels were not drawn up by the previously ruling PiS coalition. (…) That is why the Minister of Health, when he saw this, decided to submit it to the Council of Ministers, and today we passed a law that saves access for 7.5 thousand people. patients, in 259 hospitals, because the negligence in this area of our predecessors was so far-reaching that they did not implement this
– attacked the deputy prime minister in response.
They had the great ability to pass beautifully appointed laws that had no effect
– he continued, boasting about the PLN 3 billion for oncology from the budget law, without mentioning, however, that this amount was there after the presidential veto.

Support for Ukraine
During the government meeting – as Kosiniak-Kamysz said – the topic of EU financial support to Ukraine worth EUR 50 billion was also discussed.
Military support to Ukraine is provided by Poland and this is a continuation – strengthening of it. We will improve relations with the Federal Republic of Germany. We return to intergovernmental consultations (…). But we must stimulate the arms industry throughout Europe
– added the head of the Ministry of National Defense.
The issue of Polish security takes place there. You can’t get used to war. We will conduct a diplomatic offensive
– he continued.
Poland will fill the gap in preparing troops for rapid deployment (…).
– announce the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.
Laptops for students. Kosiniak-Kamysz accuses the previous team!
Our coalition will implement the digitalization of Polish schools at the highest possible scale (…). Why was this project, introduced by our predecessors, not approved by the European Commission, but also unprepared? It was not a project that had been substantively prepared
— accused Kosiniak-Kamysz, who also spoke about the lack of availability of laptop software for students.
These laptops were not properly secured and did not have software to run the curriculum at a specific counter. This program was not drawn up, it was a program for elections
– continued the Deputy Prime Minister.

What’s next for Intel’s factory?
Journalists asked Kosiniak-Kamysz if he could ensure that Intel’s investments in Poland would not be jeopardized.
Let us not look for far-reaching differences. The strategy of what is happening in Ukraine is clear to all conscious political forces. Our partner, our security guarantee, is the United States. (…) I have clearly expressed my opinion about the sequel and that has always been the case. (…). When it comes to big investments, it’s the Intel investment. The change of government in Poland changed the investment reality for the better, restored the rule of law, created better conditions and reestablished contacts
– replied Kosiniak-Kamysz, talking with nice slogans, but not very specific ones!
We are going to become the main player in the EU again, we are going to return to the main power and we are going to encourage investments in Poland again. Our predecessors gave us a government and an economy with one of the lowest investment rates in Europe
– he added, attacking the PiS team again.
I fully support this investment, any major investment, and only preparing perfectly formulated applications to the European Commission often guarantees its effectiveness. So if more time is needed, it is not laziness, but a desire for perfect preparation
– argued the Deputy Prime Minister.
