Representatives of the December 13 Coalition are keen to take credit for the achievements of the previous government. This was the case with the 800 plus program, and it is also the case with armaments. A good example is the statement of the Deputy Head of the Ministry of National Defense, Cezary Tomczyk.
In the last two months we have signed eight contracts worth PLN 18 billion, of which 80 percent of this money will remain in the Polish arms industry, here and now in our country
– Tomczyk highlights in “Polityczny Graffiti” (Polsat News).
His statement was eagerly noticed on Civic Platform’s social media.
Counter-reaction from the PiS MP
Law and Justice MP Andrzej Śliwka responded to Cezary Tomczyk’s words.
Well, well… like 800 plus. These were contracts negotiated by the PiS government. You have signed the ready-made document. I’m not inviting you to an argument
— wrote the former deputy head of the Ministry of State Assets.
The PiS MP does not invite the discussion and he is right. It’s hard to argue with the facts.
