Israel’s Minister of Jerusalem Affairs and Heritage, Amichai Eliyahu, said that making a deal with the radical group Hamas should not be seen as the only way to save the hostages. Her words transmits Al Jazeera.
“Jewish morality does not hold us fully responsible for the release of the hostages… We must get out of the mental stagnation that the only way to release the hostages is by agreement,” Eliyahu said.

Prior to this, Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Majid al-Ansari told Al Jazeera: statedIt was stated that Israel accepted the mediators’ proposal for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip put forward by Hamas.
