UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres fears an escalation of conflicts in the Middle East following US military attacks in Iraq and Syria. This was stated by the representative of the head of the world organization, Stephane Dujarric. TASS.

According to Dujarric, Guterres called on all parties to the conflict to make efforts to reduce international tensions.

“The Secretary General is concerned about the risks of further escalation. “All parties are called on to take concrete measures to reduce tensions,” the statement said.

The UN chief also called for possible human and economic losses to be taken into account if the conflict escalates.
