“Search and rescue groups and changing regulations on pushbacks – these are the ideas of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration to civilize the situation on the border with Belarus,” writes Friday’s “Rzeczpospolita”. Has anyone seen Agnieszka Holland’s film?
The Ministry of the Interior and Administration wants to oblige the Border Guard to set up search and rescue groups in units at the border. This announcement was made in a letter from the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration, Maciej Duszczyk, to the Ombudsman, Marcin Wiącek.
– we read in “Rz”.
Alleged humanitarian crisis and non-governmental organizations
As the daily writes, the groups’ task will be “to carry out activities aimed at preventing humanitarian crises, as reported so far by activists from non-governmental organizations or local residents.” Rz states that this could not only represent a breakthrough in the treatment of refugees, but also in the approach to non-governmental organizations.
So far, they have alleged that the state is treating them with hostility
– added in the text.
Has the state treated them with hostility? And who slandered and accused the border guard and the state leadership of all kinds of crimes? Are the fanciful stories about Ibrahim floating on the river for six days (sic!) or – as it turned out – the made-up story about ‘4-year-old Eileen’ this ‘humanitarian crisis’?
– The story of ‘little Eileen’ is another lie serving Belarusian propaganda! Politicians and the Commissioner for Human Rights intervened in the case! VIDEO
— TVN24 distances itself from Ibrahim’s story. Internet users have a lot of fun: “There is a new version: he walked on water for 6 days.” COMMENTS
