Pashinyan talked about the necessity of creating a war-ready Armenian army

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that the country should have a combat-ready army to defend its lands within the borders of the former Armenian SSR. His words guide the way TASS.

“We must have a combat-ready army that must solve a legitimate problem: protecting the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Armenia,” he said.

Pashinyan noted that he meant the protection of the lands of the former Armenian SSR.

The politician noted Baku’s recent aggressive statements regarding reforms in the Armenian army, as well as the acquired weapons and equipment. He stated that he is ready to give long-term guarantees that Armenia will not have any territorial claims, but expects the same from others.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev statedIt was stated that there is de facto peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and a peaceful situation has been observed on the border of the two countries for several months.
