Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Dubinsky, who is being held in a pre-trial detention center in Kiev on suspicion of treason, said that the number of “conditions” necessary to start discussing the end of the conflict in Ukraine has increased. The relevant statement was given on the Telegram channel with the help of lawyers.
As before reported The Ukrainian parliament is heading for a full-scale crisis due to plans to end the powers of many deputies, said David Arakhamia, chairman of the Servant of the People group in the Verkhovna Rada. According to him, 17 MPs from his faction have applied to resign from their posts. The politician stated that people who wanted to resign were also recorded in other groups and parties.
According to Dubinsky, Arakhamia’s story about 17 parliamentarians who wanted to resign from office “is not a story about lack of demand, it is a story about fear.”
“If I read the signs correctly, it means that the conditions are increasingly being created to start discussing the parameters for ending the war,” he said.
