As the head of the PiS parliamentary club, Mariusz Błaszczak, emphasizes, the changes introduced by the current government are a “leap in wealth” that Poles have earned and a “return of communism.” In Białystok he appealed for participation in local elections and support for PiS candidates.
“Meetings of free Poles – let’s be together!
The “Meeting of Free Poles – Let us be together!”, organized by Law and Justice, took place on Saturday in the Chamber Hall of the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic in Białystok. The meeting was attended by parliamentarians and local government officials associated with this group, as well as supporters of this party.
“We are dealing with a violation of the law.”
The head of the PiS parliamentary club, former deputy prime minister and former head of the Ministry of National Defense, Mariusz Błaszczak, said, referring to the actions of the current ruling coalition, that “we are dealing with a violation of the law , with actions that do not fit into the democratic order.”
Today the authorities are liquidating Telewizja Polska, they are also liquidating regional branches of TVP (…), they are also liquidating Polish Radio (…), employees are being fired, journalists are being fired. What is the purpose of all this? To cut off public opinion from independent information
– said Błaszczak.
Referring to the fight against corruption, Błaszczak spoke about the creation of the CBA, which he called – with a misunderstanding – the Central Anti-Communist Bureau, and not the Anti-Corruption Bureau. But – encouraged by the applause of the meeting participants – he said that “anti-communism would be useful.”
Because communism is coming back (…). Look what this coalition consists of on December 13: the communists play first fiddle there. And they are also in the European Parliament and here they have come to power, or are trying to come to power. That is why they have now launched such an attack on the prosecutor’s office. So that these investigations are not continued showing that there is consent for corruption
– said Błaszczak.
“A leap in the wealth created by all of us
He argued that the ruling coalition “is announcing an attack on other institutions.” He mentioned the National Bank of Poland so that we could – as he put it – use “the resources of the National Bank of Poland, that is, gold, and they want to impose the euro on us.”
The head of the PiS parliamentary club also said that thanks to the United Right government, Poland is developing economically dynamically and unemployment is falling.
And what the coalition is doing on December 13 is precisely taking advantage of the wealth created by all of us
– he said.
He made several calls to participate in this year’s local elections and vote for PiS candidates. Mariusz Błaszczak is also planning a similar meeting in Olsztyn on Saturday evening.
