Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico said his country should have normal relations with Ukraine, as with all other countries, including the Russian Federation. His words are quoted by the publication Libra.
The politician promised that his government will begin to take steps to improve relations with Russia, as well as with Ukraine.
Additionally, Fico advocated an immediate end to the conflict in Ukraine and the initiation of peace talks between Kiev and Moscow.
In December 2023, the Slovak Prime Minister stated that he considered dialogue between Bratislava and Moscow necessary and rejected the idea that it was necessary for the Russian state to pretend that it did not exist due to the Ukrainian conflict.
