Argentina refuses to start some economic reforms

Argentinian officials have postponed some of the economic reforms promised by the country’s new president, Javier Miley, due to weak support. This was reported by TASS Referring to the country’s Economy Minister Louis Caputo.

“While we reach consensus on the most important part of the 500-article law that paves the way for growth, we also see disagreements on the economic part. “We listened to everyone and understood most of their demands. We decided to remove the fiscal policy section to simplify and speed up implementation,” Caputo said.

The government will have to postpone reforms that include tax amnesty and export taxes, which have led to conflict among regional governors.
