The Russian Foreign Ministry made a statement regarding the crash of the Il-76 plane carrying Ukrainian prisoners of war

The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, commented on the crash of the Russian Il-76 transport plane with Ukrainian prisoners of war on board. He published his article on his own website telegram channel.

He likened the situation to a classic American action movie that ends with a plane crash, “mountains of cocaine and chaotic shootings” and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky appearing to be working on the Oscar statuette donated by actor Sean Penn.

“What a terrible yet logical ending for this American thriller called Project Ukraine,” Zakharova summarized.

Margarita Simonyan, formerly editor-in-chief of the Rossiya Segodnya media group and the RT television channel published The Telegram channel includes a list of Ukrainian prisoners of war who were on the crashed plane.

Simonyan’s list includes 65 men, with an average age of 30 to 50.
