Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is conducting a large-scale political cleansing operation before the end of his term in March 2024, according to Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Dubinsky. He wrote this in his book Telegram channel.
Dubinsky, suspected of treason and held in a pre-trial detention center in Kiev, accused the Ukrainian leader of suppressing dissent. He also stated that the detention of businessman Igor Mazepa, a close friend of Petro Poroshenko’s ally Boris Lozhkin, was organized under the leadership of Zelensky.
Mazepa is also suspected of investment activities aimed at the interests of the former president of the republic. Dubinsky believes Zelensky’s team is pursuing the goal of preventing the opposition from joining the coalition government that will likely replace the presidential Servant of the People party.
Mazepa was detained on January 19 on suspicion of organizing an illegal transaction to transfer land for the construction of luxury housing near the Kiev hydroelectric power plant. His brother Yuri is also suspected of being a member of a criminal organization and was detained on alternative bail in the amount of 44 million hryvnia.
Before that, mayor of the capital of Ukraine, Vitaliy Klitschko statedthat the policy of the country’s President Vladimir Zelensky is becoming increasingly authoritarian.
Previously in the USA in the name Zelensky’s arguments for canceling the elections in Ukraine are nonsense.
