Chairman of the Central Committee of the Party of Russian Communists, Sergei Malinkovich, said that he will demand that LDPR leader Leonid Slutsky be deprived of his parliamentary post for proposing the burial of Vladimir Lenin. This was reported by RIA News.
“The party will send a request to the State Duma of the Russian Federation… to dismiss the Slutsk deputy in connection with the proposal to rebury Lenin, which has fueled discord in society,” he said.
According to him, such statements “contradict the trend towards the consolidation of society.”
Earlier, the leader of the LDPR party, Leonid Slutsky, expressed the opinion that Vladimir Lenin should be buried because he wanted to be buried next to his mother.
